Yucky Weather

As much as I like the occasional rain, this is too much! It rained buckets last night and the wind is howling outside. I am so glad I get to snuggle inside in the warmth of my home.

Rainy day in LA

It rained heavily here during rush hour tonight. I can only imagine the snarled traffic on the highways. Hehe, sorry, had to show off the adorable dashboard of my (or soon to be my) brand new CRV.

Citizen Cat

Rosebud... Ok, my life isn't as dramatic as Citizen Kane's. But still, I had to fulfill my civic duties today as an American by serving as a juror. Of course, when I walked into the court room, I pointed at the defendant and yelled -- burn him at stake -- not exactly, I sat down and waited for my turn and eventually got dismissed. Oh well. I did my part to defend the constitution, though not as heroically as others.

I went to the Getty Villa today. The weather was so nice. Light breeze. Perfect temperature. As for the Villa, it was alright. Not a big fan. But here are some pics nevertheless.

Ode to Chicken Feet

I know some people have a totally unfounded fear and disgust for chicken feet. To those people, all I can say is, you don't know what you are missing, chicken feet are sooo yummy!

I've been eating sooo much lately! From the cruise, to last weekend's wedding, non- stop eating! I should change my website to whereispiglet.com. More food pics below, enjoy!

Mind you, this was lunch for two... and immediately thereafter, we went to the chicken feet place and had more dim sum and chicken feet...

After I picked up T from LAX at like 12am, we went straight to Hodori, the 24 hour Korean fast food place, so cheap and so good.

Calm before the Storm

We are projected to get like 20 inches of rain through this weekend. Totally biblical proportions -- will get my ark ready just in case :-) Or alternatively, I can grab a harlequin romance novel, a cup of Pu'er tea and some delicious Taiwanese pastries (thanks P!) and cry my eyes out next to the fire place (or the space heater in my case)...
