Wild Ponies of Assateague

Maryland's Eastern Shore is beautiful. One of the most famous attractions is the wild ponies on the small Island of Assateague. Their origin is still a mystery but many speculate the ponies arrived when a Spanish galleon ship, with a cargo of horses, sank off the shores of Maryland.

Awww... it's so cute! Is it me or does it look pregnant?

Since this is a family friendly blog, I had to photoshop a certain anatomical part off of one of the ponies here...look how white the sand is...

The other two ponies are girls! Hmmm, wonder why the ponies didn't charge at L, maybe they are used to tourists.

Wow, the sand is very white. Poor pony...that must've hurt.
