The best and the bravest!
Ever since I was a little tot, my eyes lid up when I saw firefighters... I think they are the bravest, coolest people on the planet. So today, I was all star struck when I went on a tour of a Fire Station! Yay! Go firefighters! You guys are awesome! Btw, Firefighter Herrera was awfully cute too, kekeke...

Wow, that's pretty different from the feeling J and I got this weekend. Someone called 911 because a homeless man looked potentially dead at a bus stop. Some firefighters came, nudged him around, shouted in his ear to see if he was alive, and asked if he wanted to go to the hospital.
After he cursed at them they wheeled him about 20 feet away from the bus stop and left him sitting in the sun. Not exactly a noble day's work. One of them ran onto the scene with a medi-pack and actually almost rolled his eyes and said "oh, just sleeping huh?"
Pei, that's northern California firefighters... here in Lalaland, our firefighters are mucho cool!
Which calendar month is firefighter Herrera pictured on? The ones I've seen in MD are, well, not suitable for the calendar pages :-)

What are you talking about? It is every firefighter's duty to promote community morale by posing half naked in a calendar. After working out and achieving an 8-pack, of course. Lifting a car or rescuing a child from a burning building during the photo shoot is optional.
That's right. To do otherwise would be a total waste of those 8-packs! K, I am gonna write a fan letter to Firefighter Herrera, hehehe....
Why don't you bake him a batch of cookies and deliver them wearing a Herrera = Hero shirt which I will make for you? Bash those kitty lashes and do your magic. MEEEEowwww!!
